About Veery

Care is a strategy. We just happened to make it a company.

Veery was built on a single belief: the way an office feels matters more than how it functions. Because when your team feels taken care of, they do their best work.

A Note from The Founder

Before Veery, I worked in hospitality.

I started managing properties on Airbnb — about 40 units at the peak — and discovered something that surprised me: I loved hosting. Not the logistics. The feeling of making someone's day better through details they'd never notice consciously.

Before the pandemic, I built a coworking space brand that helped bridge business between China and the US. A community hub, really — a place where people felt supported enough to do their best work. To me, hospitality isn't an industry. It's a way of working, a belief that physical space holds memory. I believe that the people who pass through a space deserve to feel seen, and that the highest form of care is the kind no one ever has to ask for. When I started Veery, I noticed that tech offices were being managed the same way they'd been managed for thirty years — checklists, vendor portals, facility managers. But the companies inside those offices had changed completely. They were faster, smaller, more focused. They needed less management and more hospitality. So I built Veery the way I'd run a hotel: anticipatory, detail-obsessed, quietly excellent. In the earliest days, I personally stocked supplies and cleaned client offices — because that's what needed to get done, and because I wanted to know exactly what care at that standard required. Today we're a team of operators, builders, and quiet perfectionists. We're powered by AI for memory and dispatch — but the work is, and always will be, human.

Our Philosophy

What we mean when we say care.

It requires context. It requires standing in the other person's shoes and doing what feels right at that moment. It can't be reduced to a checklist — but it can be built into a standard. That's what we've spent years doing.

We treat our vendors as part of our team.

They're on the road every day. We know who got sick. We know whose kid started school. That respect shows up in the work.

We treat the office as a place where memories live.

We hand-write notes for each company's moments. For a team raising a round: notes encouraging the founders. For an anniversary: surprise visits. Every milestone deserves to be celebrated.

We use technology to remember, not to replace.

AI helps us hold thousands of small details — dietary preferences, birthdays, vendor history — so our human team can focus on the moments that matter.

Testimonials

A bird that only sings when it's free.

A Veery is a songbird native to North America. It's known for one thing: it only sings when it's completely free. We named the company after it because that's what we want for the people we serve: the team is the bird; the work is the song. Our job is the freedom that makes it possible. You don't see us working. You feel the silence we make space for. And in that silence — you do your best work.
